On December 30, the Trade Union and Ha Phong Export Garment Joint Stock Company (Hiep Hoa commune, Bac Ninh province) organized the program "Trade Union New Year's Eve Meal".
Attending were Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation.
At the program, nearly 7.7 thousand union members and workers of Ha Phong Export Garment Joint Stock Company were supported with meals worth 65,000 VND/meal (an increase of 45,000 VND/meal compared to daily). The funding is sponsored by the company's board of directors and the grassroots trade union.
Accordingly, in addition to rice, fruits and dessert yogurt, the menu of meals has many delicious and nutritious dishes, imbued with the traditional Tet flavor such as: Boiled chicken, horse pork, bamboo shoot soup, vermicelli, banh chung, banh day...
According to Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Ha - Chairwoman of the company's Trade Union, the union is authorized by the leadership to manage collective kitchens, regularly supervise quality, and ensure food safety and hygiene. In 2025, the union maintained and expanded the improved meal model with about 650 servings/day, diverse menus such as vermicelli, pho, grilled rice, noodles..., contributing to meeting needs, improving health, and ensuring labor regeneration for workers. The "Trade Union Meal" program is organized periodically twice a year.
For the first time organizing a trade union year-end meal, the company and grassroots trade union wish to create a warm atmosphere, connecting business leaders, trade union organizations and union members; recognizing the attachment and working efforts of workers in the past year.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Thach Van Chung acknowledged and praised the results that the company's trade union has achieved in the past time, emphasizing that this result is not only from the solidarity and efforts of employees and grassroots trade unions but also the concern and sharing of business leaders to the workforce.
Mr. Thach Van Chung said that this is the first year-end trade union meal program organized in the province; expressed his wish that the company's trade union will continue to promote the spirit of proactiveness, innovation, creativity, and increasingly do better in the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the rights of union members.
On the occasion of entering the new year 2026, comrade sent wishes for health to all workers; wishing businesses continued development, ensuring jobs, income, and further improving the material and spiritual lives of workers.
It is known that Ha Phong Export Garment Joint Stock Company specializes in producing export garment products, currently the company creates jobs for nearly 7.7 thousand workers with an average income of 11.9 million VND/person/month, higher than the general average in the area. On this occasion, the company's Trade Union allocated funds to give gifts to 40 union members in difficult circumstances (each gift worth 1 million VND including gifts and cash).
