Initiatives associated with production and business efficiency
During the 2023-2025 term, Da Nang Trade Unions at all levels have coordinated with the government and profession to strongly launch patriotic emulation movements among workers, civil servants, and laborers: "Good workers, creative workers", "Good at public work, good at home work", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene"...
Notably, from emulation movements, many initiatives and technical solutions have emerged that have been recognized, creating a profit value of 185.17 billion VND. There were 35 union members awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 1 outstanding advanced model was honored at the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress for Workers and Civil Servants in 2025; 352 individuals were awarded the Commemorative Medal "For the cause of building the Trade Union organization".
"These are figures that show that the emulation movement not only honors outstanding individuals, but also directly contributes to improving production and business efficiency, improving labor productivity", said Mr. Le Van Dai - Permanent Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation.
According to Mr. Le Van Dai, in the 2025-2030 term, the Da Nang City Labor Federation set a goal of having at least 50,000 initiatives of union members and workers applied; proposed that the General Confederation consider awarding at least 25 Creative Labor Certificates.
In parallel with emulation movements, the Trade Union also coordinated with enterprises to build awards and forms of commendation such as the "July 28th Award" for outstanding grassroots trade union chairmen, honoring outstanding workers, awarding the Huynh Ngoc Hue Award to union members, honoring 80 enterprises in the movement "Enterprises take good care of workers' lives".
These forms of honor not only recognize the social responsibility of enterprises but also create motivation for enterprises to improve welfare policies for employees.
Together, build a harmonious working environment
During the past term, the Da Nang Labor Union has closely coordinated with employers in occupational safety and hygiene; mobilized to improve working conditions; safety training; organized occupational safety and hygiene competitions... to help businesses reduce risks and workers feel secure in long-term commitment.
In addition, strengthening the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations, dialogue, collective bargaining, and signing collective labor agreements to bring higher benefits to employees is also a way for the Trade Union and enterprises to build a "trusted foundation" in labor relations.
Furthermore, the Da Nang City Trade Union also participated in signing a program to coordinate with the People's Committee, departments, branches and sectors; participated in developing and supervising the implementation of legal policies; participated in emulation clusters and blocks of the city.
These coordination mechanisms help the voices of businesses and workers be fully conveyed to policy makers at all levels, thereby creating a stable institutional environment, favorable for investment, production and business.
In addition, the Trade Union also pays special attention to the lives of workers' families, especially female workers.
During the past term, in addition to coordinating with competent authorities to inspect and supervise the implementation of the regime for female workers, the city's trade unions at all levels also organized free reproductive health check-ups for nearly 6,000 female workers; created conditions for tens of thousands of female union members to study to improve their qualifications; organized thousands of propaganda sessions and thematic activities, said Mr. Le Van Dai.
When the Trade Union accompanies the enterprise, when the rights and interests of workers are guaranteed on the basis of law and agreement, the relationship within the enterprise will develop positively and harmoniously - bringing benefits not only to workers but also to the enterprise and the investment environment of the city.
