On the evening of April 24, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation organized a launching ceremony for Workers' Month, Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and the opening ceremony of the "Board for Workers" program in 2026.
Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor attended.
Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Tran Van Tuan, Provincial Party Committee Member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Thach Van Chung, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, said that Workers' Month, Action Month on OSH this year focuses on organizing activities to visit and give gifts to workers in difficult circumstances; implement union member welfare programs, resolutely not leaving any union members behind; tighten safety discipline.
Along with that, strengthen inspection and review of unsafe risks at the workplace, not to let unfortunate labor accidents occur due to subjectivity; promote emulation movements in each production team, and at the same time encourage union members and workers to promote initiatives, technical improvements, improve labor productivity associated with stable income and participate in building a safe cultural environment at the workplace.

Speaking to direct, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha - Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of trade union organizations at all levels in the province in proactively innovating the content and methods of operation, actively caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; and at the same time launching many practical and effective emulation movements, contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha requested trade union levels to continue to promote their core role in caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, putting workers at the center, proactively adapting to digital transformation, and improving operational efficiency.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 200 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases, and suffering from labor accidents. The Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 authors with typical musical compositions about trade unions and the working class, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of the Bac Ninh trade union organization.

Taking place in 3 days (from April 24 to 26), the series of activities to celebrate Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026 in Bac Ninh is organized richly, practically, towards the grassroots level, for workers.

Union members and workers participate and cheer for exciting competitions such as: Dancesport, artistic flower arrangement, tug-of-war; special art program, music night "Singing for workers to listen to - Listen to workers sing" (taking place on the evening of April 25); free legal advice right at the booth.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation organized the opening of the "Warehouse for Workers" in 2026. With a scale of 40 booths displaying and introducing OCOP products, regional specialties of Bac Ninh and many provinces and cities across the country have provided a variety of essential goods, ensuring quality at preferential prices from 15 - 40%, helping workers save living costs.

Ms. Nam - a worker at FTC Long Phuong Co., Ltd. expressed her joy at attending the launching ceremony. After the launching ceremony, she went shopping at stalls to serve the living needs of the whole family.
The female worker said that goods at the stalls are 10-20% cheaper than the purchase price outside the market, so the female workers arranged to go to the stalls for workers after work. Today, Ms. Nam bought many essential items such as yogurt, napkins, confectionery...
I am very excited to buy quality, guaranteed goods at a lower price than elsewhere. For workers, saving a penny is also precious," she shared.

Ms. Nam hopes that every day there will be a booth for workers to buy discounted items, ensuring food safety and hygiene.
Ms. Luu Thi Que, a worker at Prosper Precision Co., Ltd., shared that the booth program for workers is very meaningful, bringing many essential items such as food, household appliances at reasonable prices, many items discounted compared to markets and supermarkets, helping workers easily access and save money.
