On November 10, the Binh Duong Provincial Labor Culture Center under the Provincial Labor Federation organized the 2024 provincial "Workers, civil servants, and laborers" swimming tournament.
Attending the event were Ms. Ong Thuy Hoang Mai - Vice President of Binh Duong Provincial Labor Federation, Mr. Le Huu Van - Director of Binh Duong Provincial Labor Culture Center and leaders of direct superior trade unions in the province.
Binh Duong Province Labor Culture Center said the swimming tournament aims to create a playground for workers who love swimming and exercise to improve their health.
This year's swimming competition attracted a large number of athletes who are workers, civil servants, and laborers working in Binh Duong.
Athletes participated in the 50m freestyle swimming event for men and women. Immediately after the opening ceremony, athletes enthusiastically competed in the events.
As a result, the first prize for men went to athlete Vo Ngoc Huan from the Trade Union of Petrus Ky Primary and Secondary School; the second prize went to athlete Nguyen Van Song - Trade Union of Motomotion Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Luu Truong Bao - Trade Union of Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School.
The first prize for female athletes went to athlete Vo Thi Kim Thu - Thu Dau Mot University Trade Union; Bui Pham Phuong Thanh - Thu Dau Mot University Trade Union won the second prize and the third prize went to Hoang Thi Ha - Becamex International Hospital Trade Union. The organizing committee also awarded consolation prizes and movement prizes to many participating units.
Binh Duong Provincial Labor Culture Center is located in Viet Sing residential area, An Phu ward, Thuan An city. This is an area with a large concentration of workers.
Notably, the center has a multi-purpose gym, an outdoor sports area and a swimming pool. The swimming pool creates a space for workers to relax and for their children to practice swimming, preventing drowning....
