From 5am on February 1 (the 4th day of Tet), Ms. Nguyen Truc Phuong (a worker in Can Tho City) and her family prepared dishes to worship their ancestors, ending the 2025 Tet holiday. This is Ms. Phuong's family tradition, and is also the last day for family members to gather together before returning to work and study.
Everyone believes that family reunion on Tet holiday is a precious thing, because it is there that they can express their feelings and talk about old stories. Therefore, few people intend to go out on this day.

"My family calls this the 'All Offering' day, meaning the end of Tet offering, so everyone volunteers to help, prepare the dishes and burn incense for our ancestors, then eat and clean up. Everyone is happy because they are motivated to continue their efforts on the journey ahead" - Ms. Phuong confided
For the female worker, although 2024 was a difficult year at work due to declining health and facing many incidents, she learned to accept and move forward strongly: "I hope my whole family will be healthy and safe."
Also today, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu's family (employee of Mekong People's Credit Fund, Can Tho City) had the opportunity to gather at his house to eat. Mr. Hieu took the initiative to go into the kitchen to prepare chicken salad for his relatives to enjoy.

"Every year before Tet, I try to cook a pot of meat about 3kg to keep at home to worship and eat gradually. Today, I just prepare a few simple dishes and it's done.
Eating traditionally and sitting together with my family is what I look forward to most after a year of hard work. At the reunion dinner, we will wish everyone good health, luck, and all the best," said Mr. Hieu.

In the past few days, Ms. Tran Huyen Tran (employee at Can Tho General Printing Joint Stock Company) also took her parents on a spring outing at the art flower street, pagoda, and food and beverage spots...
"My father and I work at an office or company, so the only person left to cook is my mother. I hope this year I will spend more time with my mother. Therefore, this Tet, I also help my mother cook and entertain guests to make her less tired. The rest of the time, I go out and relax with my mother," said Ms. Tran.
