To celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026) and the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), on the morning of July 21, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Chairman of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union, led a delegation on a journey to the origin, offering incense at historical sites and visiting and giving gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the city.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation came to offer flowers and incense at typical historical relics in the city: 2/9 Memorial, Nghia Trung Phuoc Ninh, Dien Hai Special National Relic, Mother Nhu National Historical Relic Area and Hai Chau village communal house.
At each stop, delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate, express their sincere respect and boundless gratitude to the heroic martyrs, the outstanding children who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Continuing the incense offering journey, representatives of the Standing Committee of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union and members of the delegation directly visited and presented gifts to 5 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and policy families in the ward.
At the families visiting, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Chairman of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union and members of the delegation cordially inquired about the health and living conditions of the Mothers. At the same time, expressed deep gratitude for the silent but extremely great sacrifices and contributions of the Mothers in the cause of national liberation and reunification.
Representatives of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union shared that caring for and supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families with meritorious services to the revolution is a responsibility, affection and a cultural beauty that has been maintained regularly by the Ward Trade Union levels for many years.
These gifts, although small in material terms, carry great spiritual values, reflecting the good traditions of "Drinking water, remembering the source", "Gratitude" of our nation, and at the same time contributing to encouraging Mothers to maintain their health, continuing to be a solid spiritual support for children and young generations in the locality.
