On July 20, information from the Da Nang City Labor Federation, in response to the voluntary blood donation movement and promoting the spirit of "Mutual Love", Cam Le Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Ward Youth Union to organize the 2026 Voluntary Blood Donation Day.
The event attracted a large number of trade union members, youth union members, officials, civil servants, public employees, laborers and people in the area to register.
From early morning, the reception area recorded a tense atmosphere when volunteers lined up to complete registration procedures, health screening and blood pressure measurement before donating blood. The smooth coordination between the organizing committee and the medical force helped the blood donation process take place quickly, safely and in accordance with regulations.
At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee successfully received 269 units of blood. All of this blood will be transferred to medical facilities to promptly serve emergency care and treatment for patients in need of blood transfusion.
This annual blood donation activity not only contributes to solving the blood shortage situation in hospitals, but is also proof of the spirit of responsibility and noble gestures of trade union members and local workers.
Representatives of the Executive Committee of Cam Le Ward Trade Union shared that through the festival, the Trade Union and Youth Union organizations wish to continue to propagate more widely about the humanistic meaning of the voluntary blood donation movement. Thereby, arousing the spirit of pioneering and sharing difficulties with the community of cadres, civil servants and workers in the area.
