On February 28, the Labor Federation of Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City held the 5th expanded Executive Committee Conference, summarizing union activities in 2024 and discussing the program for 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Van Dai - Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation - said: In 2025, the City Labor Federation sets a goal of developing 31,000 new union members.
Mr. Dai thoroughly grasped that developing union members is the vital task of the trade union organization in the current period, so he requested that trade unions at all levels must urgently get involved right now.
Mr. Truong Cong Hieu - Chairman of the Lien Chieu District Labor Federation - said: The goal set by the Lien Chieu District Labor Federation in 2025 is to develop an increase of 1,500 union members, establish 10 grassroots unions in enterprises with 15 or more employees. At the same time, promote the development of union members in the informal labor sector.
Also at the conference, the Lien Chieu District Labor Federation signed the Regulations on coordination between the People's Committee and the Lien Chieu District Labor Federation; signed a Union Welfare program with 2 enterprises in the area.
Awarding Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Emulation Flags and Certificates of Merit from the Da Nang City Labor Federation; Certificates of Merit from the District Labor Federation to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2024.
