On the occasion of the New Year 2025 and preparation for the Lunar New Year of At Ty, on the afternoon of January 16, at Chau Son Industrial Park (Phu Ly City, Ha Nam Province), on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the working delegation visited, encouraged, and presented Tet gifts to poor households, workers, and households in difficult circumstances in Ha Nam.
Also attending the working delegation were Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Bui Quang Huy - First Secretary of the Central Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Hai Anh - Vice President, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
On the side of Ha Nam province, there were Ms. Le Thi Thuy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Dinh Thi Lua - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Truong Quoc Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Nam province.
On the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien presented 500 gifts to the poor, workers, and people in difficult circumstances in Ha Nam province (each gift worth 1.3 million VND, including 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 300,000 VND).
Within the framework of today's program, 260 out of 500 gifts were given directly to the beneficiaries.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Do Van Chien expressed his impression with the effective investment attraction strategies of Ha Nam province.
"Ha Nam's industrial parks are developing quite rapidly, attracting many large investors with a total number of workers in the area currently over 180,000 people, especially foreign-invested enterprises. The workforce working in industrial parks accounts for over 70% of the workers and civil servants in the whole province.
In the past time, despite many difficulties, with the determination of the provincial Party Committee and the management of all levels of government, in 2024, Ha Nam province has achieved many important achievements, successfully completing the tasks, targets, and goals set in terms of economy, society, national defense, and security, making Ha Nam province one of the 5 localities with the highest growth rate in the country. In that common achievement, there is a significant contribution from the team of workers and trade unions at all levels in the province," Mr. Do Van Chien emphasized.
Along with economic and social development, the work of caring for people with meritorious services and implementing social security for the poor and people in difficult circumstances has always received special attention and been effectively implemented by the Party committees and authorities of Ha Nam.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front acknowledged the results that the levels and sectors of Ha Nam province as well as the Ha Nam Trade Union have achieved in caring for poor households and workers in the province in the past time.
Mr. Chien hopes that after the warm and joyful Tet holiday with their families, workers will soon return to their businesses, enthusiastically work and produce; continuously study to improve their qualifications in both education and skills; improve their ability to access and apply science and technology in production, business and their work; promote dynamism and creativity in production for the development of the locality, unit, business and for their own benefit.
"On this occasion, I would like to request the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee - Fatherland Front - People's Council - People's Committee of Ha Nam province and agencies, departments and branches to continue to have policies to pay attention and create favorable conditions for the activities of the Fatherland Front at all levels and Trade Unions at all levels in the province in caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of members, union members and workers; constantly improve the spiritual and material life of workers, so that workers can feel secure in their attachment to the enterprise and the locality; promote their intelligence for production; contribute to the development of Ha Nam province in particular and the whole country in general", Mr. Chien emphasized.
