The launching ceremony was organized throughout the province, directly at the provincial social insurance bridge points and connected online simultaneously at 8 grassroots social insurance bridge points.
Speaking at the launching ceremony to respond to the "Month of mobilizing the implementation of universal social insurance in 2026", Mr. Nguyen Van Dong - Director of Ha Tinh Provincial Social Insurance affirmed: Universal social insurance is an important strategic orientation of the Party and State.
The core goal is to reform policies so that social insurance truly becomes the pillar of the social security system, gradually expanding coverage towards the goal of the whole people.
2026 is a particularly meaningful time when the 2024 Social Insurance Law officially comes into life with many new policies increasing benefits for participants, and also the first year of implementing the support policy for the 2026-2030 period of the Provincial People's Council.
To ensure that the mobilization and implementation of universal social insurance achieves high results, Mr. Nguyen Van Dong requested social insurance units to proactively coordinate closely with local authorities and mass organizations to conduct strong and widespread propaganda throughout the province; innovate communication methods in a diverse and rich direction, combining online and direct, and promoting it in the digital environment and social networks.
In particular, focus on direct mobilization in small groups, "going through every alley, knocking on every door" to meet and propagate to help people understand the humanistic nature of policies associated with personal interests.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nguyet - Vice Chairwoman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactiveness and determination of the Provincial Social Insurance in advising and proposing solutions to remove difficulties in implementing social insurance and health insurance policies; especially the core role in building Resolution No. 182 of 2025 of the Provincial People's Council on policies to support voluntary social insurance and health insurance contributions.
To complete the 2026 target, the whole province needs to mobilize over 14 thousand people to participate in social insurance, 16 thousand people to participate in health insurance, this is a key task requiring the drastic involvement of the entire political system.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that in the coming time, the Provincial Social Insurance needs to be flexible in implementing tasks, promote propaganda to change people's awareness and habits and ensure the correct and timely settlement of benefits for participants.
All levels, sectors and the entire people need to actively respond and participate in social insurance for the stability of their own lives and for the sustainable social security of the province.
After the launching ceremony, the whole province organized a mobile propaganda parade on many streets and main roads. After that, propaganda groups spread to communes, wards, residential areas, markets, and developed economic areas to propagate and mobilize people to better understand the meaning and benefits of participating in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance.
