Currently, it is still raining widely in many localities in Ha Tinh.
According to the forecast of Ha Tinh Hydrometeorological Station, on May 8, Ha Tinh will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy to very heavy rain in some places.
Warning that thunderstorms may be accompanied by tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
Localized heavy rain can also cause landslides on slopes, flash floods in small rivers and streams.

Worryingly, Ha Tinh is currently entering the Winter-Spring rice harvest season. Heavy rain causing localized flooding will affect the area of unharvested rice.
Previously, heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms on May 3rd caused more than 5,800 hectares of rice in Ha Tinh to fall. To reduce damage, many households had to mobilize manpower to harvest manually.
Many localities also mobilized armed forces and organizations to go to the fields to manually harvest fallen rice fields to help people.
