Regarding the work of supporting the Trade Union Shelter, trade unions at all levels in the province always promptly grasp information about difficult circumstances, mobilize support to help union members strive to improve their lives, thereby completing all assigned tasks well.
According to information from the Hau Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, in the third quarter of 2024, 35 Trade Union Shelters were handed over to union members with difficult housing circumstances, with a total construction support cost of nearly 1.6 billion VND.
Just on September 7, Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial Labor Federation Le Cong Khanh directly visited the homes of 3 union members and workers of Lac Ty II Company Limited's Trade Union to hand over 3 Union Shelters.
As one of the union members receiving support from the Trade Union Shelter, Ms. Huynh Thi My Kim (a union member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hau Giang province) emotionally said: Thanks to the Union's support, her family has a spacious house, fulfilling their dream of settling down, and having more motivation to strive and improve in life.
Chairman of the Hau Giang Provincial Civil Servants' Union Phan Hong Tham said that after nearly 4 years of implementation, the Union Shelter has always received the attention and support of leaders at all levels and the affiliated Trade Union has supported the construction of 25 houses for union members, with support amounting to 30-60 million VND/house, total value of 960 million VND.
In the first 6 months of the year, Chau Thanh A District Labor Federation also handed over 10 Union Shelters worth 500,000 million VND, promptly providing housing to workers in difficult housing circumstances.
