On September 7, the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the unit has just had a Plan to organize Mid-Autumn Festival activities for children of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in 2024. The subjects are children of union members, civil servants, and laborers in difficult circumstances of grassroots unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor and trade unions at the direct superior level.
This year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor assigned the Chau Thanh District Federation of Labor to develop a plan to organize the "Full Moon Festival Night" program in 2024 for children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances at the Tac Cau Fishing Port Union.
From social mobilization sources, the Provincial Federation of Labor allocated Mid-Autumn Festival gifts for children of union members and workers at the Tac Cau Fishing Port Trade Union and 2 Trade Unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor (KTC Canned Food Factory under the Trade Union of Kien Giang Trading Joint Stock Company and the Trade Union of Kien Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company). A total of 400 gifts including cakes and cash.
According to Chairman of the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Truong Thanh Thuy, the organization of Mid-Autumn Festival activities aims to care for the children of union members and employees in agencies, units and enterprises, especially the children of union members and employees in difficult circumstances. At the same time, it promotes the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting children.
Thereby, we also seek the support of the government, all levels, all sectors and the coordination of employers to mobilize resources to care for, organize visiting and gift-giving activities; entertainment activities, creating a healthy and useful playground for children.
The Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor requested the Federations of Labor of districts, cities, and industry unions and grassroots unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor to mobilize resources to organize or coordinate with specialized agencies at the same level to organize Mid-Autumn Festival activities.
Direct and guide the subordinate trade unions to organize Mid-Autumn Festival activities associated with organizing art programs and folk games to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere for children in accordance with the conditions of the locality, agency, unit, and enterprise. Mobilize organizations and benefactors to award scholarships to children of union members and employees with difficult circumstances who strive to excel in their studies on the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2024 - 2025.
Coordinate and mobilize financial support from businesses to organize Mid-Autumn Festival activities, give gifts to children of union members and employees to create a joyful atmosphere and a useful playground for the children.
