On October 14, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor held a meeting of the Executive Committee and Inspection Committee for the 2023-2028 term.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized that the important content of the conference is to comprehensively assess the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities after more than 3 months of operation of local government at both levels; at the same time, discuss and decide on many important contents for trade union activities in the coming time.
At the conference, delegates listened to information about the directives and instructions of the Central Government, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Lam Dong province related to the workers' movement and trade union activities.
Delegates discussed enthusiastically, evaluating the results of developing union members, building trade union organizations and activities in the province after 3 months of implementing the new organizational model.
At the same time, they contributed ideas to the draft Plan to organize the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, scheduled to take place for 2 days, in mid-December 2025 at the Provincial Labor Culture House.
The conference also spent time discussing and giving opinions on the plan to restructure delegates attending the Congress and the draft Political Report to the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
Another important content is the introduction of personnel to join the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the 2023-2028 term, implemented in accordance with the correct process, democracy, and objectivity.
In his concluding remarks, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang said that immediately after the conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor will urgently deploy specific activities, put the resolution into practice, and serve union members and workers.
The unit also focuses on directing and guiding grassroots trade unions to organize congresses for the 2025-2030 term to ensure compliance with the Charter, promote the spirit of democracy and solidarity; and at the same time, carefully prepare for the upcoming 1st Provincial Trade Union Congress.
