At noon on August 20, the Trade Union of Hai Trieu Company Limited organized a Trade Union Meal for 600 union members and employees of the company.
In the warm atmosphere, workers and laborers enjoy meals including 3 main dishes such as chicken thighs, pork rib soup, stir-fried and dessert yogurt, with the value increased to 50,000 VND/serving.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Le Huynh Thi Hoa Phuong - Chairwoman of Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union - emphasized that "Union Meal" is not only a simple meal but also shows the concern of the trade union organization for union members and workers. Hopefully, the grassroots trade union and the company will coordinate to organize the Trade Union Meal not only once but can increase it to 2-3 times/year to better care for workers.
Leaders of the Ward Union, Ward People's Committee and Chairman of the grassroots Union sat together to eat, visit, and listen to the thoughts of the workers.
On this occasion, Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union presented 10 gifts, each worth VND300,000 in cash, to 10 workers in difficult circumstances. The grassroots union presented 10 gifts of necessities such as rice and instant noodles to workers in difficult circumstances.
Union member Vo Thi Bich Nha said that the Union Meal for workers and laborers is not only a meal but also a source of encouragement and warm attention from the union organization and the company's board of directors.
"A nutritious, safe meal and a deep appreciation of colleagues help us have more health and confidence to continue working and staying with the company for a long time. Especially in the program, there is sharing and encouragement for union members in difficult circumstances" - union member Nha shared more.
Binh Thuan Ward Trade Union currently manages 25 grassroots trade unions with nearly 3,500 union members. Among them, many companies are located in Phan Thiet Industrial Park.
