For example, organizing a contest to understand the resolutions of the Trade Union Congress at all levels for the 2023-2028 term among officials, union members, and workers in the form of answering multiple-choice questions and essays.
According to Mr. Tran Kim Anh, the contest attracted more than 2,000 union members and workers to participate. Grassroots unions pre-judged and selected 321 entries to send to the Contest Organizing Committee.
Da Huoai District Labor Federation judged and awarded first prize, second prize, 2 third prizes and consolation prizes on the occasion of preliminary summary of union activities and emulation movement in the first 6 months of 2024.
Or the model "Going to school with children" has also been implemented effectively. With this model, grassroots trade unions of administrative agencies have sponsored 17 students who are working people in difficult circumstances with at least 15kg of rice each month.
In fact, more than 7,000kg of rice, household items, cooking oil, salt and fish sauce and more than 15 million VND were donated by trade unions to support disadvantaged children to go to school.
School unions awarded 1,458 gifts, worth more than 460 million VND, to students in difficult circumstances and ethnic minority students. This funding source comes from the union mobilizing officials, union members, workers and sponsors and benefactors for support.
The women's committee of grassroots trade unions organized the program "Sharing wardrobe - Spreading Vietnamese beauty". From this approach, the Union has created a connection between the giver and the recipient with more affection, respect and love.
“With these creative methods and effective models, local grassroots trade unions have attracted and gathered a large number of union members and workers to participate in activities, especially programs.
