On February 4, the Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor said that up to this point, most businesses in the area have resumed operations right after the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday.
According to records, more than 95% of workers have returned to work after the holiday. Some businesses have a 100% worker attendance rate.
On the first working day of the new year, many businesses organize activities to welcome workers back with a vibrant, joyful atmosphere, creating a positive impression.
Ms. Tran Ngoc Nhu Quynh - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of First Team Vietnam Garment Company Limited Branch (Loc Son Industrial Park, Bao Loc city, Lam Dong province) said that the company encouraged the spirit of 920 workers right in the first shift of the year.
Company leaders and unions came to the workplace to give New Year's lucky money to each worker.
“During the first shift, we gave lucky money to all the workers. This is a meaningful gift to encourage morale and create a joyful and exciting working atmosphere in the new year" - Ms. Tran Ngoc Nhu Quynh shared.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thu - a worker at First Team Vietnam Garment Company Limited Branch - said that the workers were very excited to receive attention from the company and the union.
Before the Lunar New Year holiday, all workers at the company received gifts. Workers in difficult circumstances were also visited and given gifts by the Bao Loc City Labor Federation and the Provincial Labor Federation.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thu said: "The workers were very surprised and excited when on the first day of work, the company and the union showed concern and gave them lucky money at the beginning of the year. Each lucky money envelope was worth 30,000 VND, although not much, it showed timely encouragement."
"We are very grateful and hope that in the new year the company will have many orders, workers will have more jobs and stable income" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thu added.
