Lao Cai Branch - Ha Son Tourism Transport Joint Stock Company was established in 2011, operating under the authorization of a parent enterprise in the field of public passenger transport by bus and road transport support services, including bus station management.
For many years, businesses have maintained a policy of law compliance, contributing to meeting the travel needs of people and developing the province's transportation.
The grassroots union currently has 160 union members in three affiliated units; of which 36 people work at Lao Cai Branch, 110 people at Ha Son - Lao Cai unit cluster and 14 people at Lao Cai Bus Station Management Company.
Average income in the first 9 months of 2025 ranges from 7.7 - 10 million VND/month depending on the unit; the rate of stable employment reached 98%.

In the 2023-2025 term, trade union activities are affected by many factors: the characteristics of dispersed workers, recovery pressure after the COVID-19 pandemic, the impact of Typhoon Yagi and the process of reorganizing trade union organizations.
However, the trade union still maintains the implementation of democratic regulations, organizes labor conferences, conducts periodic dialogues and supervises the implementation of policies. 100% of workers' recommendations are received and processed.
The work of caring for union members has been practically implemented: maintaining the staff kitchen; regular health check-ups; ensuring occupational safety and health; organizing fire prevention and fighting training; supporting workers affected by natural disasters; coordinating with businesses to carry out social security activities in the locality. During the term, the union admitted 80 new union members.
The emulation movement is associated with production and business efficiency. Many collectives and individuals were commended by the Provincial Labor Federation and the Transport Trade Union.
