On July 19, Thanh Mieu Ward Trade Union coordinated with Viet Duc General Hospital to organize the program "Beneficiency for Trade Union Members", with free health check-ups and consultations for union members and workers of grassroots trade unions in the ward.
Attending the program were leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Mieu Ward, Thanh Mieu Ward Trade Union, along with representatives of leaders and medical staff of Viet Duc General Hospital.

At the program, doctors and nurses of Viet Duc General Hospital directly conducted general examinations, health consultations, and guidance on nutrition, living, and disease prevention for nearly 500 union members and workers.
Each participating union member is supported with a free health check-up package worth up to 1.65 million VND/person, including many in-depth examination categories, including early screening for some cancers and other health care services.
The activity is organized thoughtfully and scientifically, helping union members and workers grasp their health status, raise awareness of health care and protection, and detect early disease risks.
The program is a practical activity to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, demonstrating the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
