Recently, Phu Tho Provincial Labor Federation organized the Male Football Tournament for CNVCLĐ in communes and wards and the Male Football Tournament for CNLĐ in industrial parks in the province in 2026.
The two tournaments are organized to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031; celebrate the 136th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh; respond to Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026.
Specifically, from May 9th to May 17th in Vinh Phuc ward, the Provincial Labor Federation organized the 2026 Phu Tho Provincial Industrial Park Workers' Men's Football Tournament.
The tournament has the participation of 16 teams, over 300 athletes, representing businesses in industrial parks in the areas of: Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho and Hoa Binh.
After two group stages, on May 17, 2026, the Organizing Committee awarded the championship cup and gold medal to the grassroots trade union of Piaggio Vietnam Co., Ltd.; the runner-up prize belonged to the grassroots trade union of Newflex Vina Co., Ltd.
And in Viet Tri ward, on May 16 and 17, the Provincial Labor Federation organized the 2026 CNVCLĐ men's football tournament in communes and wards.
Participating in the tournament are 9 football teams with nearly 200 players from grassroots trade unions representing trade unions of communes and wards in the province.
After 2 days of exciting competition, the teams competed with a spirit of solidarity, honesty, nobility, contributing many beautiful plays, many impressive goals and exciting, dramatic matches.
As a result, the Chi Dam Commune Trade Union team excellently won the championship; the Hoa Binh Ward Trade Union team won the second prize.
These are two provincial-level tournaments, and also a useful playground contributing to strengthening the spirit of solidarity, exchange, and learning between grassroots trade unions in the province. Thereby continuing to promote the movement of physical training and sports among union members and workers; contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life in workers and employees.
The two champion teams of the two tournaments will compete for the Dat To Trade Union Super Cup in July 2026, on the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).
