Trade Unions at all levels of Phu Tho province have implemented many practical care activities, contributing to helping union members and workers celebrate Tet more fully.

Support nearly 4,000 Tet gifts for union members and workers

The whole Phu Tho province has over 172,300 workers, including over 155,000 union members. Every time Tet comes, spring comes, the work of caring for union members and workers is given more attention by the union at all levels.

Ms. Bui Thi Thu Huong - Chairwoman of the Provincial Industrial Parks (IPs) Trade Union said: "Implementing the direction of the Provincial Labor Federation (PPF), the IPs Trade Union has developed a plan, proactively coordinated with functional agencies and grassroots Trade Unions (CDCS) to review and grasp the production and business situation of enterprises to proactively recommend to the leadership and employers to have a plan to pay salaries and bonuses for Tet to employees, at the same time develop a support plan for union members and employees in difficult circumstances, promptly report to the higher-level Trade Union to have practical support measures, so that no union members or employees do not have Tet".

Mr. Nguyen Van Du - Chairman of the Trade Union of Yakjin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thuy Van Industrial Park) said: In addition to receiving the 13th month salary bonus from the company, the Trade Union also gave Tet gifts to all union members with a total value of nearly 680 million VND; at the same time, guiding 140 union members and employees in difficult circumstances to promptly complete the application for support from the enterprise and the Trade Union at all levels, so far 100% of union members have received support.

Her family is among the poor households in the locality. She is the main breadwinner in the family, raising 3 children and taking care of her sick husband. Ms. Doan Thi Pang - a worker in the product quality control department (QC) of Yakjin Vietnam Co., Ltd., was touched by the attention from the company's management board and the Trade Union at all levels. Ms. Pang shared: "I am very happy to receive Tet gifts from the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Company's Trade Union. This is a source of encouragement, helping me have more motivation to overcome difficulties in life."

It is known that, in preparation for the Lunar New Year, the Provincial Federation of Labor has supported nearly 4,000 Tet gifts for union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total value of over 2.2 billion VND; directed the Trade Unions at all levels to proactively advise employers, heads of agencies and units to assign schedules and perform tasks during Tet.

For special jobs, union members and employees still have to work during Tet holidays. In addition to paying salaries according to the law, the Union will work with employers to provide bonuses and other remuneration, organize gifts of encouragement, and give lucky money at the beginning of the new year to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere for union members and employees.

In addition to promoting activities to care for and ensure the rights of workers during Tet, trade unions at all levels in the province also organize many meaningful and practical activities to celebrate the Spring Festival and Tet for workers, while strengthening propaganda and mobilizing union members and workers to actively participate.

Hope workers constantly strive to overcome difficulties

In addition to giving gifts, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" and "Tet Union Market" attracting the participation of a large number of union members and employees. In addition to the cases where the Provincial Federation of Labor gave vouchers (worth 300,000 VND/voucher), 100% of union members and employees participating in the "Tet Union Market" were able to purchase quality products and goods at preferential prices from suppliers. The Provincial Federation of Labor also deployed the program "Online Trade Union Market 2025" organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to grassroots unions and supported union members and employees to successfully purchase goods.

"Taking care of Tet for union members and workers not only affirms the attention of the Party, the State, and trade unions at all levels, contributing to a warm and happy Tet for union members, but also encourages and hopes that workers will constantly strive to overcome difficulties and challenges, compete in labor, promote creativity, contribute to improving productivity, quality, and work efficiency, contribute to the development of agencies, units, and enterprises, and build an increasingly developed homeland," the Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized.
