On July 14, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that the Quang Tri Provincial Social Insurance (BHXH) Grassroots Trade Union successfully organized the 2nd Quang Tri Provincial Social Insurance Staff and Employees Sports Festival in 2026.
The sports festival is a practical activity to celebrate the 31st anniversary of the establishment of Quang Tri Provincial Social Insurance (July 20, 1995 - July 20, 2026) and the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026). At the same time, this is also an opportunity for trade union members, civil servants and employees to exchange, learn, improve health, strengthen solidarity, and contribute to building Quang Tri Provincial Social Insurance to become increasingly stronger and successfully complete the assigned political tasks.
The sports festival attracted 156 athletes who are leaders, officials and employees from the Trade Union of Quang Tri Provincial Social Insurance Office and affiliated grassroots trade unions. Athletes competed in three sports including badminton, table tennis and pickleball with many competition contents.
During the two days of the Sports Festival, the matches took place excitingly and dramatically in an atmosphere of solidarity, exchange and enthusiastic and exciting cheers from a large number of officials and union members. Athletes competed honestly and nobly, determined to contribute many beautiful balls, exciting score chases and many matches with high professional quality.
At the end of the Sports Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 36 sets of medals to pairs of athletes who won first, second and third prizes in the competition events. The success of the Sports Festival contributed to promoting the movement of physical training and sports in the team of officials and employees of Quang Tri Social Insurance, strengthening solidarity between units, creating motivation to successfully complete professional tasks, contributing to building the Trade Union organization and Quang Tri Social Insurance province to become increasingly strong.
