Free cancer screening for workers in Quang Tri

Quang Tri - 165 union members and workers in Dien Sanh commune (Hai Lang district) have just been organized for free medical examinations and health consultations.

On May 25, Dien Sanh Commune Grassroots Trade Union confirmed and responded to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in 2026, on the morning of May 24, Dien Sanh Commune Grassroots Trade Union coordinated with Medlatec Co., Ltd. to organize a program to screen for liver cancer, digestive tract cancer and provide free health counseling for 165 union members and workers in the locality.

At the program, union members and workers were sampled and thoroughly screened by specialist doctors to detect early pathogenic risks, and at the same time provided dedicated advice on nutrition and reasonable living to protect their health.

Mr. Ho Tuan Binh - Chairman of Dien Sanh Commune Trade Union said that this is a practical activity to realize the goal of focusing on grassroots levels and comprehensively caring for workers.

Free medical examination is of profound humanitarian significance. This activity not only helps workers promptly detect and prevent diseases early, reduce the burden of medical expenses, but also shows the concern and close companionship of the Trade Union organization. Thereby, helping union members feel secure in their work, regenerate labor to successfully complete their tasks," Mr. Ho Tuan Binh emphasized.

This is one of the key and meaningful activities of the Dien Sanh Commune Trade Union organization in this year's Workers' Month. The program makes an important contribution to caring for and improving physical and mental health, creating a solid support for union members and workers at the grassroots level.
