On August 6, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that Nam Dong Ha Ward Trade Union had just held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Tin Phat Education Joint Stock Company, and at the same time admitted 10 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
At the ceremony, Nam Dong Ha Ward Trade Union announced the decision to establish a grassroots Trade Union and the decision to admit 10 workers to become members of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga, Chairwoman of Nam Dong Ha Ward Trade Union, congratulated the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union and new union members. She also informed about some key tasks of the Trade Union organization in the coming time, especially activities to care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
The Chairman of Nam Dong Ha Ward Trade Union proposed that the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union soon develop operating regulations and work programs; complete procedures for seals and accounts so that the grassroots Trade Union can soon go into regular and effective operation, promote its role of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
The establishment of grassroots trade unions at Tin Phat Education Joint Stock Company contributes to the development of trade union organizations in enterprises, gathering employees to participate in organizations, and building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
