On August 6, Long Dien Commune Trade Union (HCMC) said that it had just coordinated with Working Group No. 5 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) to organize a conference to announce the decision to establish new grassroots trade unions in the area.
At the conference, the Long Dien Commune Trade Union announced the decision to establish the An Ngai Market Grassroots Trade Union with nearly 50 members. At the same time, they presented the decision and congratulated the Executive Committee and all members of the newly established trade union.
According to the Long Dien Commune Trade Union, the establishment of the market trade union marks a new step in the development of union members and building the Trade Union organization in the area, contributing to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
Through the newly established trade union, it will contribute to gathering and uniting workers who are working and trading at the market. On this occasion, Long Dien Commune Trade Union and Area Management Working Group No. 5 presented 20 gifts to small traders in difficult circumstances who are trading at An Ngai Market. Through activities showing the concern and companionship of the Trade Union organization with union members and workers in difficult circumstances, contributing to adding motivation for women to overcome difficulties to stabilize their lives and feel secure in working and doing business.
