On the morning of July 22, the Labor Confederation of Long Phu district (Soc Trang province) coordinated with the Communist Party of Long Phu commune to plant Quynh Anh trees on both sides of Provincial Road 933C, in the areas of Tan Lap, Nuoc Man 2 and Kinh Ngang hamlets, commune. Long Phu with a length of 4km.
The total value of the project is 200 million VND. Of which, 150 million VND is from the source of new rural construction of Long Phu commune in 2024 and support from the New Rural Coordination Office of Soc Trang province. Trade Unions at all levels contribute about 50 million VND per day's work.
After planting and handing over the project, the locality will continue to mobilize people to make flagpoles, fences, and lights to become a model project.
Ms. Truong Thi Loan Anh - Chairwoman of Long Phu District Labor Confederation said that the project implementation aims to enhance the responsibility of union members and employees and create consensus in society, promoting dynamism and creativity to contribute to the realization of the project. is currently effective in the construction of new rural areas in the locality.
Ms. Loan Anh informed that this activity is also to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
