In response to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to mobilize support for people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Soc Trang province called on the people of the province to participate in supporting the provinces affected by storm No. 3.
The Presidium of the General Confederation of Labor continuously directed the care and support of union members and workers affected by storm No. 3 in 2024; mobilized support for compatriots affected by storms and floods.
The Standing Committee of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor organized a fundraising event and called on all union officials, union members, workers, and unions at all levels in the province to support and contribute at least 1 day's salary and wages to send to union members, workers, and people affected by storms and floods.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son - Chairman of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor - said that the Standing Committee of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor will transfer all the money mobilized by the trade union at all levels to union members, workers, and people affected by storms and floods in accordance with the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Soc Trang province and the Presidium of the General Confederation.
At the launching ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor mobilized over 35 million VND from full-time union officials in the province to support people in the North.
