On November 5, at Cu Lam village (Hiep Hoa commune, Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province), Thai Binh Industry and Trade Union organized a ceremony to hand over funds to support house construction for Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc Kim - a member of the Union of the Branch of Yazaki Hai Phong - Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Thai Binh.
Accordingly, union member Bui Thi Ngoc Kim received support of 50 million VND from the "Union Shelter" fund of the Thai Binh Provincial Labor Federation.
It is known that Ms. Kim's family situation is extremely difficult, her husband is sick and not healthy enough to work, she herself had a traffic accident, the family is poor. Her whole family has to live with her husband's parents in a very cramped level 4 house.
The land given by her parents, along with the encouragement of her colleagues, the support of her relatives and a part of the funding from the "Union Shelter" fund, motivated Kim's family to build a solid, airy flat-roofed house. From now on, Kim's family has their own house, helping her to take care of her children and continue to treat her husband.
Mr. Doan Van Nam - Chairman of the Enterprise's Trade Union - said: "The Yazaki Hai Phong - Vietnam Co., Ltd. branch in Thai Binh currently has more than 5,000 union members and workers, many of whom have families that are still facing housing difficulties and are in great need of encouragement and support from all levels and sectors. In recent years, many union members of the company have received funding to support house building from the "Union Shelter" fund of the Thai Binh Provincial Trade Union. This is a source of motivation to help union members and workers overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives."
