At the conference, delegates reviewed the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union, the contributions of female cadres and union members to the development of the Vietnamese women's movement, the women's movement of Thai Binh province in general, and Dong Hung district in particular in recent times.
Also at the conference, over 200 female grassroots union officials in the district were informed about the importance and role of women in propagating and implementing State policies and laws on children; and were provided with additional knowledge on child health care, especially for children from 0 to 8 years old.
