Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice President of the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health; Mr. Duong Van Luong - Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Duong Xuan Hung - Chairman of the Provincial Occupational Safety and Health Council, Director of the Department of Home Affairs - emphasized that the program is of great significance in raising awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and workers towards OSH assurance.
At the same time, affirming the local concern in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers and laborers.
At the program, delegates watched a report reflecting outstanding results in ensuring occupational safety and health, as well as activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of workers in the area.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Provincial Labor Federation launched the "Weekend Playground" program in 2026 - one of the key activities in response to Workers' Month.
The program aims to create a healthy and beneficial cultural and spiritual living environment for union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers; thereby strengthening exchanges and connections between grassroots trade unions, units, and businesses.
Through diverse activities, the program also integrates propaganda of the State's guidelines, policies, and laws, especially laws on labor, trade unions, and occupational safety and health.
The launching ceremony is the opening highlight for a series of activities in response to the Action Month on OSH and Workers' Month 2026 in Thai Nguyen province, contributing to building a safe and stable working environment, promoting sustainable socio-economic development.
