On May 10, Quang Phu Ward Trade Union organized the launching ceremony of "Workers' Month" and "Moment of Action on Occupational Safety and Health" in 2026.
Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of local leaders, units, businesses and hundreds of workers.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Hoang Le Thai - Chairman of Quang Phu Ward Trade Union called on all levels, sectors, agencies, units, and businesses to continue to pay attention and accompany the trade union organization in caring for life, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; building a safe working environment.
Along with that, it is proposed that employers fully implement the provisions of law on occupational safety and health; strengthen the control of risks, improve working conditions, take care of workers' health, and minimize occupational accidents and diseases.
Officials, union members, and workers need to promote the spirit of responsibility, actively respond to labor and production emulation movements; accompany and share difficulties with businesses; actively study and improve professional qualifications and skills, contributing to building strong units and businesses.
At the launching ceremony, Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, representatives of leaders of Quang Phu Ward People's Committee, Ward Trade Union and businesses presented 139 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, the Quang Phu Ward Trade Union also implemented the model "Trade Union Adoption Children - Elevating the Future", to better care for the lives of union members and children of workers.
