On May 10, the Trade Union of Truong Vinh ward organized a training conference to improve management capacity, health care for workers, occupational disease prevention and treatment, and first aid and emergency training at the workplace.
Attending the conference were Comrade Phan Thi Trang - Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation and nearly 100 officials and union members in charge of occupational safety and health of grassroots trade unions.
At the program, delegates were disseminated many important contents related to workers' health care; identifying risks of labor unsafety and common occupational diseases.
In addition, reporters also guide skills in handling situations, first aid, and first aid at the workplace to help trade union officials proactively respond when incidents occur.
In addition to the theory part, the conference also organized practice of basic first aid skills for trade union officials to effectively apply in practice at agencies, units, and businesses.
Through the training program, Truong Vinh Ward Trade Union wishes to raise awareness and responsibility of trade union officials and workers in proactively preventing labor accidents and occupational diseases; building a safe and healthy working environment.
This is a practical activity in response to Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026, contributing to taking care of the health, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
