On August 18, Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had just organized a training conference on skills and operating methods for the safety and hygiene network.
Attending the conference were 50 officials and members from 25 Commune and Ward Trade Unions and grassroots trade unions directly under the Provincial Labor Federation. These are forces directly involved in occupational safety and health, consulting and supporting workers at the grassroots level.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation emphasized the role of the team of safety and hygiene workers in preventing labor accidents and occupational diseases at enterprises.
According to Mr. Luong Trong Thanh, in the practical operation at enterprises, safety and hygiene staff play an important role in identifying risks, detecting factors that pose a risk of unsafety, thereby proactively participating in preventing work accidents and occupational diseases.
The Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation requested trade union officials and members of the legal and safety and hygiene advisory group after training to effectively apply the knowledge and skills equipped in practice at the grassroots level; proactively grasp the situation, detect issues related to the rights, interests and safety of workers to promptly advise and propose solutions.
Through the conference, the team of officials and members of the safety and hygiene network have consolidated their knowledge, skills, and operating methods, contributing to improving the effectiveness of occupational safety and hygiene at enterprises.
Thereby, contributing to making occupational safety and health work a regular, practical, proactive activity to prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases and gradually build a safety culture at the workplace.
