News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on August 5th said: The Da Nang City Labor Federation organized a training conference for Trade Unions to participate in implementing labor safety and hygiene for the team of trade union officials in charge throughout the system.
The program aims to improve knowledge, skills and promote the role of the Trade Union organization in coordinating the implementation of occupational safety and health at the grassroots level, contributing to protecting the health and lives of union members and workers.
At the conference, delegates listened to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Minh Duc - Head of the Sub-Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Science and Environmental Protection of the Central region conveying two topics including: Occupational safety and health at the grassroots level and Safety Culture at enterprises.
Through the topics, the speaker updated the regulations, knowledge and necessary skills on occupational safety and health; analyzed the role of the Trade Union organization in coordinating with employers to build a safe working environment and prevent work accidents and occupational diseases.
At the same time, emphasizing the meaning of building a safety culture in enterprises, considering this an important factor contributing to raising awareness of law compliance, responsibility of employers and employees, towards a safe, stable and sustainable working environment.
The training conference is an opportunity for the team of full-time trade union officials to exchange experiences, improve their capacity to participate in supervision, propaganda, and mobilize union members and workers to well implement regulations on occupational safety and health; thereby contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
This is the second training class in the 2026 Trade Union official training and fostering program of the Da Nang City Labor Federation to build a team of trade union officials to meet the operating requirements of the Trade Union organization according to the new model.
