On July 20, Hue City Labor Federation coordinated with Huong Tra Ward Trade Union and the grassroots Trade Union of Nhat Ha Garment Joint Stock Company to hand over the Trade Union Shelter house to Ms. Tran Thi Hien - a worker of Nhat Ha Garment Joint Stock Company.
The house was completed after more than 2 months of construction, helping Ms. Hien and her 3 young children have a solid place to live, stabilize their lives, feel secure in working and responding to the rainy and storm season.
From the Trade Union Shelter program, Ms. Hien was supported with 60 million VND to build a house. In addition, union members and employees in the enterprise and relatives contributed working days and funds to complete the project. The Board of Directors of Nhat Ha Garment Joint Stock Company also presented congratulatory gifts to the family.
On this occasion, the Huong Tra Ward Trade Union donated a set of English reading and learning markers to Ms. Hien's children to encourage them to study.
The program contributes to caring for the lives of union members and workers in difficult circumstances, continuing to affirm the role of the Trade Union organization in accompanying and supporting union members to stabilize their lives.
