Hanoi – On October 4, the Health Festival for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Hanoi Health sector was opened on the occasion of the Capital Liberation Day.

The Health Festival was organized by the Hanoi Department of Health in coordination with the Trade Union on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024). Nearly 3,000 cadres, union members, and employees of 78 units in the Hanoi Health sector participated.

Athletes will compete in four events: Men's football, badminton, table tennis, and men's and women's tug of war. The final round of the 2024 Hanoi Health Sector Staff and Workers' Health Festival will take place on the afternoon of October 5.

The Health Festival is a festival to demonstrate the solidarity of the Capital's health units in particular, and to evaluate the development of physical education and sports among the masses, among cadres, workers and civil servants in general. This activity also demonstrates the work of physical education and training, thereby improving the health and healthy spiritual life of cadres, workers and civil servants in the entire capital's health sector.

The Capital Health Sector regularly pays attention to and invests in developing cultural, artistic, and mass sports movements. Therefore, the movements have developed strongly and have been actively responded and participated in by a large number of cadres, civil servants, and employees in the entire sector.

Through the movement, we contribute to motivating, encouraging and providing workers with an attractive and useful sports playground to improve their health and create a healthy cultural and spiritual life. This is also one of the factors for cadres, union members and workers of the Capital Health sector to have more joy and determination to fulfill their tasks of protecting and taking care of people's health.
