Hanoi - May 23, more than 700 female workers in Hanoi High-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks were given free health check-ups.

Accordingly, at Meiko Vietnam Electronics Co., Ltd., the Hanoi Labor Federation in coordination with Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital organized the Program "Free reproductive health check-ups, early cancer screening for workers; health care knowledge communication and free medicine distribution in 2026" for 700 female union members and workers in high-tech zones and industrial parks of Hanoi.

The meaningful activity takes place in the vibrant atmosphere of Workers' Month 2026, further affirming the practical concern of the Capital Trade Union organization for the lives and health of workers.

Attending the program were Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen Van Thang - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation; Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation; Dr. Dinh Thuy Linh - Deputy Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, along with a large number of trade union officials, doctors and female workers.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang said that with the spirit of strongly focusing on grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center of care, in the past time, the Hanoi Labor Federation has implemented many practical activities such as: Organizing the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health; program "Thank you workers"; "Trade Union Meal"; visiting and supporting workers in difficult circumstances, who have suffered labor accidents and occupational diseases; commending "Capital's Good Workers", advanced examples of studying and following Uncle Ho; launching creative labor emulation movements to improve labor productivity at enterprises.

In particular, health care for union members and workers is always focused on and widely implemented by the Capital's Trade Union levels. Health is the most precious asset of workers, a condition for labor, family care and long-term attachment to businesses. For female workers, reproductive health check-ups, screening and early detection of cancer are even more practical and humane.

Right from the early morning, hundreds of female workers were present to be directly examined, ultra-vised, consulted on reproductive health, screened for early detection of dangerous diseases by leading obstetrics specialists of Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital. In addition to in-depth examination activities, female workers also listened to communication about health care knowledge, occupational disease prevention, reproductive health protection and were provided with free medicine.
