Signing commitment to ensure occupational safety and health in 2026

Hanoi - On May 13, the Hanoi Funeral Service Department organized a signing ceremony to commit to ensuring occupational safety and health in 2026.

The signing of the Commitment to Ensure Occupational Safety and Health in 2026 is one of the activities of the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.

Commitments were signed between representatives of leaders, representatives of Trade Unions and representatives of workers with the following contents: Strictly complying with regulations on occupational safety and hygiene; Using full labor protection equipment; Proactively preventing labor accidents and occupational diseases; Enhancing responsibility and spirit of coordination.

Clearly recognizing the importance of occupational safety and health, the Party Committee and leaders of the Board always pay attention to directing professional departments and teams to strictly implement legal regulations on occupational safety and health, contributing to ensuring the health of officials and employees and improving the effectiveness of performing professional tasks.

The unit's propaganda work focuses on contents such as using labor protection equipment, preventing labor accidents, fire prevention and fighting, working environment sanitation, and skills in handling situations arising during task performance.

Every year, the Organizing Committee organizes occupational safety and health training classes for target groups in accordance with regulations and periodic training time. The training content focuses on legal knowledge on occupational safety and health; identifying unsafe risks; measures to prevent work accidents and occupational diseases.

In addition, the unit regularly coordinates to organize professional training classes on fire prevention and fighting, rescue and relief, first aid skills for officials and employees to improve their ability to respond and handle situations when incidents occur...

Regarding the work of taking care of workers' health, the Board conducts periodic health checks for officials and workers 1 time/year according to regulations. For workers doing heavy, hazardous, dangerous work or working in hazardous environments, periodic health checks are organized 2 times/year to monitor, care for and protect workers' health.

In addition to organizing lunches for officials and employees, it also regularly maintains the quarterly Trade Union Meal program to improve the quality of meals, contributing to improving the health of workers.

At the launching ceremony of Workers' Month, the Hanoi Labor Federation awarded Emulation Flags to the Trade Union collective and Certificates of Merit to the Chairman of the Trade Union of the Hanoi Funeral Service Department for his outstanding achievements in the worker, civil servant and laborer movement and Trade Union activities in 2025.
