At the Summary of the movement of workers, civil servants and trade union activities in 2024, the deployment of tasks and launching of the emulation movement in 2025 of the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union, 1 collective received the Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 3 collectives and 1 individual received the Certificate of Merit of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
One of the notable results in the 2024 activities of the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union is the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, improving the quality of grassroots union activities and union staff.
Accordingly, the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union conducted a survey to grasp the situation of enterprises in the industrial zones, develop plans, focus on propaganda and mobilize union members. The results were the establishment of 25/25 grassroots unions (100%), and the admission of 19,927/18,000 new union members (111%) of the assigned plan.
The Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union also directed the grassroots trade unions to strengthen and supplement the Executive Committee and Inspection Committee to ensure activities at grassroots trade unions, and to review the number of union members and workers to build strong grassroots trade unions.
Develop a training plan for grassroots union officials in 2024. Organize guidance on the Law on Bidding and inspection and supervision for grassroots union officials, and organize professional training for typical grassroots unions such as the Union of Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd., Terumo Vietnam Co., Ltd., Matsuo Vietnam Co., Ltd., etc.
In 2025, the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union strives to complete the target of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions assigned by the City Labor Federation and the Party Committee; 100% of grassroots trade union officials will be trained, fostered and instructed in trade union work theory and 95% or more of workers will be introduced to, learn and thoroughly understand the Party's Directives and Resolutions of the Trade Union, the State's legal policies, etc.
