Ms. Dao Thi Kim Lanh is a member of the Union of Tan Phuong Kindergarten, Ung Hoa District. Ms. Kim Lanh is in a very difficult situation. She has breast cancer, is sick, and often goes to the hospital for treatment; her husband is a freelancer with an unstable income.
Currently, the family's income mainly depends on Ms. Lanh's salary, so no matter how frugal they are, it is often not enough to cover family expenses and raise 2 children. Ms. Lanh's family also has difficulty with housing as her family has to live in her parents' house.
Understanding the situation and aspirations of Ms. Dao Thi Kim Lanh, the Executive Committee of Tan Phuong Kindergarten Trade Union proposed the Ung Hoa District Labor Federation and the Hanoi City Labor Federation to conduct a survey to support funding for building a Trade Union Shelter for the families of Trade Union members.
After the survey, the Hanoi City Labor Federation decided to support Ms. Dao Thi Kim Lanh with 40 million VND, and the Ung Hoa District Labor Federation supported 10 million VND for her family to build a house - the Trade Union Shelter. The Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations, the education sector, local businesses, along with the school, colleagues and relatives of Ms. Lanh also provided material and spiritual support.
With that support, Ms. Lanh’s family is determined to build a new house in Van Dinh village, Van Dinh town, Ung Hoa district. After more than 2 months of construction and completion, the project has now been completed with a total area of 65m2, including a living room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, toilet, etc.
