On April 20, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation held the Opening Ceremony of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Union and Workers' Pickleball Tournament in 2025.
This is a practical activity in response to Workers' Month 2025; celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.
Attending and cheering for the tournament were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and provincial socio-political organizations; members of the Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee, grassroots union officials and a large number of fans.
In her opening speech, Ms. Chau Thi Thu - Vice President of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized the importance of the tournament in promoting the mass sports movement and improving the health of union members and employees. At the same time, it creates opportunities for exchanges, learning, and strengthens solidarity between units. Improve the health and cultural and spiritual life of workers.
Participating in this tournament are 90 athletes from 10 direct superior trade unions competing in 5 events: men's doubles aged 45 and under, men's doubles aged 46 and over, women's doubles aged 40 and under, women's doubles aged 41 and over and mixed doubles.
The 2025 Tuyen Quang Province Union Members and Workers Pickleball Tournament will take place over 1 day of competition.
