On March 28, the 2025 National Wushu Championship held in Vung Tau City ended the final competition day, closing the ceremony, awarding prizes to the fighters with high achievements.
Many Hanoi fighters have won the final round, receiving Gold medals in the weight categories of the Sanda competition such as: fighter Ngo Minh Hien - weight category of men's 48kg; Do Tuan Khang - weight category of men's 52kg; Hua Van Doan - weight category of men's 56kg; Truong Van Chuong - weight category of men's 70kg; Chu Thi Lan Chinh - weight category of women's 52kg; Ta Phuong Anh - weight category of women's 56kg; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh - weight category of women's 65kg; Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang - weight category of women's 70kg.
This achievement has helped Hanoi lead the Sanda total event group with 8 Gold medals, 1 Silver medal; 3 Bronze medals.
Hanoi also leads the total Taolu event group with 14 Gold medals, 5 Silver medals and 6 Bronze medals.
Thereby, the Hanoi delegation took the lead in the total group arrangement of the whole delegation in all events; the second place was the Ho Chi Minh City delegation, and the third place was the Dong Nai delegation.
As the host unit, the achievements of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau delegation are quite modest with 2 Gold medals and 5 Bronze medals, ranking 9th overall.
Previously, the 2025 National Wushu Championship held in Vung Tau City opened on March 23, attracting 381 athletes from 32 units nationwide to participate in and compete in the Taolu (performance) and Sanda (sports) events.
Athletes who win medals in the tournament will be promoted to the rank of general; athletes from 4-7 will be promoted to the rank of national 1 in the competition events.
