On August 11, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province said that from August 7 to 14, 2025, the province will organize a " film festival to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)...
The activity is carried out by the department with the Department of Cinema, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and related units.
The film screening aims to widely propagate to the people, especially the younger generation, the tradition of patriotism and the spirit of great national unity. Through the cinematic works, the audience will be able to review the heroic pages of history. Thereby, raising awareness and responsibility in the development of the country.

Accordingly, on August 12, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the organizing committee will hold an incense offering ceremony at the National Historical Site - a memorial site for the Nam Tien soldiers in Buon Ma Thuot ward.
On the same evening, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the opening ceremony will take place with an exchange program between artists, actors, film crews, police officers and soldiers of the province and the people.
On August 13, from 7pm to 9pm, an exchange program will be held with officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command.
On August 14, from 7pm to 9pm, artists, actors and film crews will interact with staff, lecturers and students of the Central Highlands University.
The works screened include: documentary Flying on the Free Wings, Special Companion (produced by Peoples Police Cinema), feature film Memories of Nam Xuan (produced by Giai Phong Film Joint Stock Company), Ba gia di buti (produced by Truyen I Film Joint Stock Company).
The series will be shown at the Film Distribution and balls Center, the Provincial Military Command and the Central Highlands University from August 7 to 13, 2025.
