The historical drama "Cam Nguyet Nhu Ca" was expected thanks to its famous novel original and the combination of Chau Da - Thua Loi. However, after being on air, the female lead's attractive appearance could not hide her shortcomings in acting and Charisma, making many viewers consider this a "near-end" in this project.
First of all, Chau Da is noted for her progress compared to previous projects, especially in the gentle segments, interacting affectionately with the male lead. However, when moving to male-dominated, strong and decisive scenes - which are the core identity of Hoa Yen - her acting has not yet created a sense of authenticity, making viewers feel unconvincing.
The audience also commented that the image of the "female general" that Chau Da portrayed was too fragile: Not having a sun-shining, lacking strong charisma and not creating the necessary inner depth of the character.
Many other audiences also criticized her "small as rice leaves" appearance, combined with uncontrolled expressions and lifeless eyes that made the character become distant from reality.
In other aspects, some audiences analyzed that the screenwriter has not helped to clearly express the process of "adulture", because the journey from the weak Mrs. chip to the decisive female general took place too quickly and lacked hard work and training, so Chau Da's acting could not convey the concept of "rearing phoenix" as in the original work.
However, not all opinions criticized him. Some audiences who have never read the original work have evaluated Chau Da's performance as round, fast-paced, and chemically reacts to Thua Loi, although not yet explosive, but temporarily stable.
Chau Da in "Cam Nguyet Nhu Ca" is considered to have made efforts, but unfortunately, this character seems too much, not suitable for the actress's image and acting style.
