This is an opportunity to encourage the spirit and introduce the strength of the Vietnamese professional team to fans.
The meeting in Ho Chi Minh City was attended by Mr. Hoang Trung Kien - Permanent Vice President of the Federation and Head of the Vietnam Baseball Team, Mr. Ly Dai Nghia - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Sports Training and Competition Center, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Baseball Association and Vice Chairmen of the Association, Dr. Nguyen Le Pham Huynh, Mr. Bui Khac Lam and Mr. Cao Chi Dung.
According to the Vietnam Baseball and softball Federation, the Baseball team participating in the 33rd SEA Games consists of 25 members, including 20 athletes and 5 officials. The 5-a-side badminton team has 10 members, including 7 athletes and 3 officers. The Southern region contributed 9 major league athletes and the entire major league 5 team.
At the 33rd SEA Games, the Baseball and bong da 5 events will compete in Bangkok. In the Baseball event, Southeast Asia has the participating teams of Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Laos, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia. The 5-a-side golf tournament is expected to have Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam competing.



Currently, the baseball movement in Vietnam is developing in a disciplined direction, attracting a large number of young people. The whole country currently has about 18 professional teams practicing in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Hue... creating a source of athletes for national teams.
With the criteria of building and sustainably developing badminton, the Vietnam Baseball and softball Federation has recently actively called for and mobilized social resources; organized, managed, and effectively used domestic and foreign sponsorship sources in accordance with legal regulations. Every year, the Federation maintains the "National Baseball Club Cup", a tournament in the national tournament system, to expand the movement, discover and nurture talent for the national team.
Vietnamese tennis also received professional support from Korea - a country with a developed Baseball scene. Many Korean coaches have come to Vietnam to teach and at the same time receive the Vietnamese baseball team for training, helping athletes accumulate experience and the courage to compete in major arenas.
