The tournament is organized by Lava Sports Co., Ltd., continuing to aim to develop the community badminton movement, create a playground for exchange and competition for people who love this sport, and at the same time contribute to discovering and nurturing young talents.
According to the Organizing Committee, the highlight of this year's tournament is the diverse ranking system, suitable for many participants. Athletes are divided into 5 groups including U15, U17, KOLs and Content Creator, Newstar and Advanced group.
In which, the U15 and U17 groups are playgrounds for young players with men's singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles events. KOLs and Content Creator groups gather content creators, influential people in the badminton community to compete in men's doubles and mixed doubles events.

The Newstar group is for amateur athletes who are operating at clubs in Ho Chi Minh City, while the Advanced group gathers many players with high professional qualifications, who are training at provincial and city teams, national teams and strong clubs across the country.
The organizers said that the tournament is operated according to the current Badminton Law of the Vietnam Badminton Federation to ensure professionalism and fairness in competition. All matches use the VS ball as the official match ball.
In addition to medals and gifts from sponsors, cash prizes for champions are also invested with a notable total value. Specifically, the Advanced group received 8 million VND, the Newstar group received 4 million VND, the KOLs group received 3 million VND, while the champions in the U15 and U17 groups received 2.5 million VND.
With a scale of more than 300 athletes participating and a diverse competition structure, the Venson - Lava Open Badminton Tournament 2026 is expected to contribute to promoting the badminton movement to develop more strongly, while creating opportunities for exchange and competition for players at many different levels.
