The Binh Duong 7-a-side football championship is one of the largest and important playgrounds in the tournament system managed and organized by Phui Football. In the previous 4 football seasons, thanks to professional, methodical and meticulous organization, the tournament has always attracted famous clubs and many stars of grassroots football from Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai to compete.

Unlike previous seasons where only 8 teams participated, this year the organizing committee has increased the number of participating teams to 12. These are the top 7-a-side football teams in Vietnam, including representatives from Da Nang, the Central Highlands...
According to the draw results, the host Bamboo FC, the defending champion of the tournament, is in Group A with Minh Canh Construction, Thep Viet Thang FC and Nghiem Pham Holdings. Group B includes Phuc Khang FC, Nam Dong Gia Lai, Hieu Hoa Quahaco and My My FC. Meanwhile, An Bien, Bay Nui, XSKT Dak Lak and STPFOOD FC are in Group C.

12 teams will be divided into 3 groups, competing in a round-robin to select the top two teams in each group and the 2 third-placed teams with the best results to enter the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.
With a total prize value of up to nearly 100 million VND, the champion team will receive the championship trophy and a prize money of 40 million VND. The prize money for the runner-up and third-place teams is 20 million and 10 million VND respectively.

In the opening match, My My FC was the team with the most impressive victory when defeating Nam Dong Gia Lai with a score of 4-1, Bamboo defeated Xua Dong Minh Canh with a score of 2-0. Nghiem Pham Holdings and Thep Viet Thang shared points after a 1-1 draw, Hieu Hoa Quahaco won 1-0 against Phuc Khang FC. STPFOOD came back to defeat XSKT Dak Lak with a score of 2-1 and An Bien Bai Nui with a score of 0-0.
The tournament took place from February 2 to March 7 at Phuong Tan Uyen football field (Binh Duong).
