The tournament was organized by the Trade Union of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province, attracting the participation of football teams from many units.
Attending the opening ceremony were leaders, including Mr. Cao Van Chong, Deputy Director of the Department, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, along with representatives of agencies, units, and athletes who are civil servants, public employees, and soldiers of the participating teams.
The tournament brings together 4 teams including: Provincial People's Committee Office, Thu Dau Mot University, Provincial Police and the host team Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism.
The teams competed in a round robin format, with each win earning 3 points, a draw earning 1 point and a loss earning no points. As a result, the Provincial Police team won convincingly and took the championship cup. The Thu Dau Mot University team ranked second, while the Trade Union team of the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial People's Committee Office received the third prize and the style prize, respectively.
The Four-team Football Tournament is not only a sports playground, but also a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the Lunar New Year 2025. Thereby, the tournament contributes to improving cultural and spiritual life, promoting patriotic emulation movements and strengthening solidarity and cooperation between units.
