The 3rd National Vovinam Student Championship in 2025 will take place from October 19 to October 25, organized by the Vovinam Vietnam Federation in coordination with Vinh Long University of Technical Education.
This year's event is not only a sports tournament, but also a journey to spread the cultural and spiritual values of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao, contributing to arousing a physical training movement among students at Universities, academies, universities and colleges nationwide.
With the participation of more than 500 athletes and coaches from 34 units nationwide, competing in 56 sets of medals in boxing, martial arts and competition.
In particular, this year, Vovinam martial arts music Song No. 1 continues to be officially competed, bringing a unique combination of martial arts, music and performing arts a testament to Vovinams youthful, creative and vibrant vitality in the new era. This is an innovation to keep up with the development trend of society when there are many students who love martial arts music and become a trend among young people.
In localities, many schools have converted Vovinam martial arts music lessons into core exercises for students and brought positive results as well as the love of young people. As for students, they are at their most dynamic and creative age. Therefore, the introduction of martial arts music into the competition will encourage creativity and dynamism of current students.
Since 2019, the Vovinam award for new students has returned, marking a new step in the Vovinam movement among Vietnamese students. The goal of the Award is not only to win medals, but also to connect, share, and together nurture the spirit of "Learning Vo Viet - Love for Vietnam" - pride imbued with national identity. Thereby spreading the beautiful values of Vovinam, martial arts is honored as a national intangible cultural heritage.
