vovinam Athletes of Ho Chi Minh City won 16 gold medals to hold the No. 1 position at the 2025 National Championship.

The 2025 National vovinam Championship ended on September 15 in Vinh Long. Athletes nationwide competed in 26 events and 22 weight-less events to determine the final rankings.

The Ho Chi Minh City team won the No. 1 position with a record of 16 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 2 bronze medals. In this result, the Votinginam HCMC team won 5 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 2 bronze medals in the competition and 11 gold medals in the competition for the right to perform.

The championships to perform the right of the Ho Chi Minh City team include the men's chart practice, women's self-defense, men's attack leg practice, women's sword practice, female tiger competition, men's artistic competition, mixed-use and mixed-use sword competition, men's artistic cup competition, men's artistic festival, men's artistic festival, and four male male tournament statues.

On the total rankings, second place is Can Tho with 10 gold medals, 1 silver medal, 3 bronze medals. Thanh Hoa team ranked 3rd with 5 gold medals, 8 silver medals, 5 bronze medals. Dong Nai, Ninh Binh, Vinh Long, Hanoi, An Giang are in the next positions.

The tournament attracted 22 units nationwide to compete. The vovinam Vietnam team will gather after the tournament to participate in the 2025 World Championship in Indonesia. The competition program took place in early November. This year, vovinam is not included in the 33rd SEA Games competition program in Thailand.
